Think it’s too late to write Santa? Think again! We’re in the technological age, friends; we can send Santa letters faster than you can say ho, ho, ho. If you and your child haven’t sent Santa his letter yet, don’t despair. Fortunately, you have several options right at your fingertips.
Write back yourself. I did this for the first few years since my little girl was too young to know better. It also allowed me to customize the letter and decorate it myself. You can be as creative as you want, make it very personal, and even add borders, glitter, whatever you’d like.
Create one online. If you’re a little wary of your own artistic skills, you can use the templates here to create the letter of your choice. The trick is leaving it for your child; you may want a friend to mail it or to even leave it with the presents on Christmas Eve.
Order a letter from MailBySanta.com. A basic package is about ten dollars, though you can upgrade with extras like an autographed photo of Santa Clause.
Get a phone call from Santa. At SantaGreetings.com, you can get your letter, a photo, plus a few extras for one price. Of course, your child might think that it’s weird that Santa is calling while he’s so busy—but then again, it could be the highlight of the day.
Verify that you’re on the “nice” list. At PackageFromSanta.com, you can get your letter plus a certificate that declares your child as a member of the “Nice” list. In addition, you can order an autographed photo of Santa and Mrs. Clause, a letter from Rudolph (how the heck does that work?), magic North Pole snow, reindeer food, and even a scrap from Santa’s robe. That’s sort of a stalker package, if you ask me.
Get a FREE letter. That’s the best kind, right? The only catch is that it won’t be delivered through the mail. Your child can fill out a form and a letter at NorthPole.com and check back at the site later to see if Santa has written back. Every child gets a reply. You can do the same thing at ChristmasSantaClause.com.
See if your city writes Santa letters. Our park service does it for free, so we sent our letter to them this year. I have my fingers crossed that it will be wonderful; it’s very kind of them to provide the service, at any rate.
