Your posting is very inaccurate.   Joseph did not convert to Judaism until after he was married and after the child was born.  The child was born to a Christian father and Jewish mother.  Joseph never agreed to raise the child Jewish, and under Illinois law had the clear right to take his daughter to Church with him during visitation (See the Illinois case In Re Marraige Of Minx).   The Judge (who was a past president of the Illinios Jewish Bar Assoc), ordered that Jospeh not expose his child to any religion other than the jewish religion.  The order had nothing to do with indoctrination or church.    Your post is so innacurate is seems that it was written by Rebcca (the "good Jewish wife" who had an affair with an African-American lawyer twice her age)

It might be inaccurate but the man is sad. Religion is sad. And this child's future is sad. This guy comes off immediately as a sad little manipulative twirp. Religion is a jacket to this guy. Something to change and try on.

The guy is anything but a twirp.  I think he has been honorable and dignified.  He hasn''t used his newfound celebrity to bash his wife, rather he has bashed the court system.  The court system is notoriously gender biased, and this guy is taking a stand in the vein of Rosa Parks or MLK.  He should be applauded and jailing him will only ignite more fire.  The courts undermine their own integrity when they overreach.
